Mirabel Casino Hosts Controversial “Peach Festival” Spotlighting Women’s Artistry

Mirabel, NV — The Mirabel Casino, known for its sleek architecture and high-stakes gaming, drew an unusually large crowd this past weekend for its annual “Peach Festival,” a festival that has garnered attention both for its unusual traditions and for its focus on women participants.
The festival, now in its fifth year, features women presenting personal artistic displays described by organizers as “celebrations of form and creativity.” Traditionally, only women are allowed to participate in the display portion of the event, a rule the casino maintains as part of its longstanding tradition.
According to attendees, the displays are intended to showcase body-positive performance art and self-expression in a controlled, adult-oriented setting. The casino provided private viewing areas and emphasized consent and participant safety throughout the event.
“The festival is about creativity, confidence, and celebrating artistry,” said Mirabel Casino spokesperson Julia Calder. “We make it clear that participation is voluntary, and the displays are intended to be empowering rather than provocative.”
Despite the unconventional nature of the festival, public reaction was largely mild. Most visitors treated the event as a performance or artistic exhibition. Some media outlets noted the novelty of the festival but stopped short of framing it as overtly controversial.
A small number of local commentators questioned the appropriateness of such displays in a casino setting. However, these voices represented a minority, and no official complaints or regulatory actions were reported.
Festival-goers described the event as unique and engaging. “It’s definitely different from your usual casino experience,” said attendee Mara Lin. “I came for the festival, the performances, and the community atmosphere. It’s creative, and it’s fun to see people express themselves freely.”
The now turned nude casino also emphasized that the Peach Festival coincides with other entertainment programming, including live music, culinary demonstrations, and family-friendly events in designated areas. Organizers stressed that adults-only restrictions are strictly enforced where appropriate.
The Peach Festival is scheduled to return next year, with plans to expand participation and increase public educational programming about performance art and creative expression.
